Even though I didn't get Daniel Alfredsson, Pavel Datsyuk or Henrik Zetterberg to sign a thing during the Detroit Red Wings' visit to Tampa in December, the trip was well worth the time. It was the kind of day where the number of players who signed rather than the big names, made it worth the ride over the Gandy Bridge.
All told, I added 21 autographs from 17 players to the collection.
Signing the pucks, shown above, were:
Top row: Todd Bertuzzi and Jonas Gustavsson; and
Bottom row: Petr Mrazek and Stephen Weiss.
Signing cards were:
Top row: Justin Abdelkader, Cory Emmerton and Johan Franzen;
Bottom row: Gustavsson, Darren Helm and Jimmy Howard;
Top row: Jaukub Kindl, Niklas Kronwall and Drew Miller; and
Bottom row: Gustav Nyquist, Chris Osgood and Brendan Smith.
I even added some cheapskates, my homemade cards, to the haul, having Danny DeKeyser (top) and Tomas Tatar sign them:
